Classes

Saloon

The saloon class is generally regarded as the most prestigous and challenging class. The level of racing can be demanding and therefore is aimed at the more experienced driver. The cars in this class are very highly tuned, although entry level cars can be used.

GTS

New for 2010 (formely Sports GT), only difference for this class is the use of any bodyshell can now be used. In the past this has been a popular and well supported class. it is the ideal place for a newcomer with its friendly but competitive racing. to be competetive in this class it is not necessary to have a highly tuned car, although most racers cannot resist "the shiny bits".

Poor Rob????

4 Wheel Drive

A very entertaining and fun class. This class was introduced recently for the racer with a limited budget, the MCD being the most popular car with its robust construction and hard wearing tyres. Thus the requirement for using the standard kit tyres and limited tuning parts available.

close battle

Formula 1

These cars can be bought as a basic kit using plastic components or as a full competion alloy version. the cars use grooved slick tyres which are very durable and give good grip. the F1 cars have fully adjustable geometry which helps handle all track conditions. A full grid of these is an impressive sight. With a current British Formula 1 world champion, lets hope this generates some interest for this class enabling a successful season.
