Cotswold Circuit

The CMCC track is at Kemble Airfield, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire and was opened at an open meeting in August 2005 by Lord Apsley. The track is open to members for practice at all times during the week (apart from club or national race meetings).

The track was designed from the start by the club committee and has many features:

  • A large rostrum with room for up to 15 drivers and offering excellent views of the track from all positions
  • Cut outs for a large combination of different circuits
  • Integrated Alycat timing loop
  • Protected marshall points covering all of the track
  • On-site toilet block with male/female facilities and shower cubicles
  • Dedicated pit area directly in front of the rostrum allows for easy refueling and repair of cars during races, the seperate pit lane means that cars can enter the race safely
  • 16 speaker PA system covering circuit and pit areas
  • On-site camping space for drivers during weekend events

Organisers of the W.L.S.C. visited the circuit in Dec for their club round although it was very cold the track seemed very suitable for 1/5 scale cars with some very good sections on their circuit. We was greeted with a warm welcome, all their committee members are very friendly and approachable.
